About the event
In the afternoon at 2:00 or 3:00 PM (TBA), Cárdenas will teach a workshop focused on ekphrasis, which is poetry inspired by visual art. Then at 6:30 PM, participants from the workshop will join Cárdenas in a public poetry reading. Cárdenas will read from her own work, and participants will read the poems they wrote in the workshop. Open to all.
