Cárdenas will give a talk and poetry reading at the Association of American University Women's (West-Suburban Milwaukee) Annual Brunch, Tea, and Raffle, which raises funds for scholarships awarded to women continuing their education at one of Milwaukee area colleges and universities: Carroll, Mount Mary, Alverno, MATC, WCTC, and MSOE.
